I thought we could play a riddle game. I will post a series of work-in-progress images and you need to figure out what it is that I'm building
What is depicted on the image?

No takers? Well, the first hint I can give is that the red/white cloth is from a classic soviet era wool blanket.

No idea what it's going to be. But is it from a Red Army blanket? Is there some leather under it? Perhaps you are building some sort of gloves?

Standard household blanket. The darker cloth underneath isn't leather. The second hint is that the scissors might indicate some scale.
Also, here's the other side after some stitching:

The overall dimensions might be in that neighborhood, yes.

Some sort of coat of arms or tabard? I am not sure what it is called in English.

Tabard is tabard in English, but no, that's not it.

Yes, I know

My writing was poor. Sorry about that...
Is it a banner?

Nope. Using blanket-thickness wool for a banner would surely be a waste, wouldn't it?

I want to say armour; probably the quilted style used by conscripted infantry prior to metal armour being given to all and sundry.

Warm, warm! I'll wait at least a couple more guys/replies before posting the next image which will be far more revealing than the first two steps.

That's quite scalding already.

Do you guys want to keep guessing what exactly will it cover or shall I post another hint?

As that looks pretty much like a sleeveless shirt, I would say it covers torso, possibly only front depending on how thick it has to be.
