Can we expect a new update sometime this month? It's been quite a while with nothing new.

I'd keep my fingers crossed. Next Thursday looks mighty hopeful.

I´m quite sure this has been asked and answered before but after arriving here just now I´m quite confused about what RPG is actually being developed and what version (Beta) is current.

On the home page we have access to Band of Brothers Betal 0.1, but I´ve seen there was already a 0.2. But then we have another designation showing up that seems to be the current project, namely "Sword and Scoundrel". I must say I´m very confused at this point, not knowing which beta document to read, or if there is anything else available besides BoB Beta 0.1.

The premisses of the system seem very interesting and I would like to delve deep into the system to give some feedback. I just need to know where to look.

Band of Bastards was the name of the original beta release. A revised version, entitled Sword and Scoundrel, is forthcoming.

Basically,

Band of Bastards 0.1 was released around a year ago and is the version currently available for download.
The team decided to do a major overhaul of the game to make BoB 0.2.
During the design of BoB 0.2, one of the major changes was to change the name to to Sword & Scoundrel.
S&S beta is due for release in the coming days or weeks and will have major changes to the BoB 0.1 rules.

Reading over the BoB 0.1 document will still be a worthwhile read if you are interested, the basic combat system is the same, but before you delve too deep realize that another release is close at hand.

Welcome to the boards :D

I reckon then that I will wait for the release of the next Beta file before I delve into the document.

I must say though that I preferred the "Band of Brothers" brand, which seemed to go hand in hand with the style of writing and especially with the style and aim of the game play. Still, Sword and Scoundrel ain´t bad.

Band of Bastards was an excellent name, but if you google it, you'll instantly realize why we had to rebrand.

Oh, by the time you get all that done, I'll have more for you.

On the off-chance this doesn't get finished editing and formatting this week, I have something else to release already.
