Re: what you asked in the other thread about equipment
That all seems fine, if you are cashing out you are going to have enough money left over to have the assumed miscellaneous things like clothes. I just don't want anyone cashing out and spending every last skilling on armor and having nothing left.
Also from you I'd like just a couple of sentences about the enemy gang, a name for Cirillo's mentor and what is Cirillo's Old Injury?

Re: Cirillo Bondesan
As Cirillo moved on from mercenary life he bartered away his helmet and whatever else war kit he had apart from those in the first post in this thread.
His mentor's name is Lucio Monte.
The gang is lead by a man named Rocco the Red. It is around 20 men strong and the rumor on the street is that it is affiliated with a merchant family but Cirillo doesn't know what that family is or even if the rumor is true or not. Rocco's gang runs illegal gambling dens where Cirillo ran into trouble with them as he was accused of cheating. They also run a protection racket and are rumored to dabble in small time smuggling.
His old injury is that his left knee was busted in a fight. Someone gave a kick that busted it up. Luckily it only acts up occasionally.

I should have explained properly. The assumption I was making was that Cirillo tutored under Lucio Monte with the Acerbi family. Lucio previously was Claudio's doctor but he moved to Florence and had a disagreement with Cirillo (don't know what that is yet). Cirillo has taken over in his absence. Giacomo is sending a messenger to Cirillo's mentor in Florence. It is only a few days travel away.Cirillo wrote:my former mentor here in Venice is by far more knowledgeable in helping with your ailments. It would be my honor to ask him visit you tomorrow at the earliest opportunity, if that would please you, sir." [OOC, that is if Cirillo's former mentor is indeed better at this].

Ah, my bad. I will edit my reference for this from my previous post. It was late when I made that post and character names have not yet stuck well enough to my memory Sorry about that

Re: Cirillo Bondesan
33, is it OK for me to boost "friend protection" SA from 1 to 2? I still have 2 SA points left in reserve and I think I have use for that one remaining point after scene 3

Cirillo gains 1 SA for "protecting his friends" by defending Marco from Rocco.

Re: Cirillo Bondesan
Do you have any ideas about what damaged the relationship between Cirillo and Lucio?
Also, don't forget you get 2 SAs for the conflict with Rocco and to remove the Rocco SA and flaw from your character sheet (the SAs on "Survive the wrath of Rocco" go to orphan pool).

Re: Cirillo Bondesan
I think Lucio practically saved Cirillo's life by taking him as an apprentice. He had probably planned Cirillo to stay at Acerbi household and keep on practicing medicine there. For some reason Cirillo got drawn away from that life and signed up with a condottieri. Cirillo and Lucio argued over Cirillo's duty to stay and they parted ways in anger.
If there is anything more interesting, I am open to suggestions (from other players as well).
Yes, I am still thinking how to spend those SAs. BTW, do I have to buy off the enemy flaw now that Rocco is dead? Or did Ferran just do a HUGE favor for him?

Re: Cirillo Bondesan
Good question, I was thinking about this too. Currently my interpretation is this: until you buy off this Flaw, you have an enemy (if he dies, somebody takes his place - for example his friend is seeking revenge on you). I'm curious how what Higgins and Agamemnon had in mind when creating this Flaw.Marras wrote:BTW, do I have to buy off the enemy flaw now that Rocco is dead?

Re: Cirillo Bondesan
Yes, that's how it works in GURPS, IIRC. You have to buy off disadvantages.
In this case one gang member or the whole gang might want to make Cirillo suffer for what happened to Rocco even though it wasn't Cirillo who killed him.
