Sorry, but no. Last weekend some locals begged me help them out on a triathlon event and I couldn't refuse. This week there's graduations abound. And this weekend I'll have an opportunity to handle some horses, which I'm simply not willing to pass up, as fleshing out the Bestiary will be one of the major tasks we need to tackle quite soon.

The weird thing about horses is... I've been hearing all week how big the mare is gonna be. And then I'm there, standing like two paces from the beast. Sure, she's bigger than the rest, but she's ain't THAT big. Then I take those final two steps so I'm right next to her.

OMFG SHE'S SO FRIKKEN' HUUUUGE :o

Yeah, she was such an awesome horse. HUUUUUGE and awesome. So friendly. I'm sorely tempted to pick up another hobby. For research purposes, of course! :D

Just for research, of course :)

Have you seen Full Metal Jousting? It looked pretty brutal :)

I have! There was one other reality jousting show as well, but Full Metal Jousting was waaay better. Oddly enough, I actually liked how they standardized the harness. It made the sport look less like a fringe thing.

It was pretty good actually, unfortunately I didn't have a chance to see more than couple of episodes. But that's the kind of reality TV I would like to watch :)

Hey guys, I'm here to hassle you again about any potential updates we may be getting this week :)

So what's the news? Are we getting anything this Thursday?

I'm interested as well. My group wants a Riddle of Steel-like game, and after trying Blade of the Iron Throne this weekend are pretty much in love. However, there are a lot of little problems we have with it that I believe Band fixes. Would love to have a more complete version of Band to playtest, because it looks great so far (and I believe the community is already better for this game, after seeing posts like the one about skeleton behavior). I've been following Song of Swords (another TRoS-like) on /tg/, and it seems that it is finally getting closer to being unified and edited to a (more) final version too. Excited to have a lot of options, in terms of systems to play and borrowing / house-ruling in cool mechanics, coming soon™.

Welcome aboard, Willard! :)

As for the updates, did some proofreading of the skirmish chapter, but Agamemnon has been notoriously hard to get a hold of. :| Just sent him a text asking whether his dad was still okay.

Sorry if this is getting monotone. Such is life.

Yes, it happens. It's a bummer but things happen at their own pace. At least it's summer, even up here :)
