It is being great the whole time, you can only make it bigger and greater

Stay tuned. Some very interesting stuff brewing over here.

That being so, you'd probably open a Grand Heresy Brewery soon enough! ))Agamemnon wrote:Stay tuned. Some very interesting stuff brewing over here.

Henceforth, we are abandoning our gaming pursuits in favor of craft beers.

Well, we DID talk about a possible promotional rum deal we could pursue at some point... I guess if that falls through, we'd probably need to launch Distilled Heresy, yes.Siggi wrote:That being so, you'd probably open a Grand Heresy Brewery soon enough! ))
But that aside, I'm REALLY excited about what's brewing (metaphorically, as of now). We're still tinkering, but we could theoretically see an improvement that rivals "wound level adjusts the TN instead of modifying the CP" in the terms of magnitude. If not even more.

Well now you got me all fired up.higgins wrote: But that aside, I'm REALLY excited about what's brewing (metaphorically, as of now). And i still need to play a round of this goatdamn game as is -- because of gamer's honor, i can't just bring the game to a table and say "let's play this one for a change"; i also need to actually run the game... and i'm all out of game to run.
Also, still thinking about D6 conversion, there's some fun stuff i wanna do that (imo) meshes with d6 better...
I also had an idea for a Lovecraftian Hack, where instead of SA you got "Insight", "Arcana" and "Madness" which grant different die types; so normal skill dice would be d6, insight dice d8, arcana d10, madness d12. Insight is gained from investigating, arcana is gained from rolling eights, madness is gained from rolling tens... And then there is also a "doom track" for the entire group that fills up every time an 9 or higher is rolled... etc. still figuring out the details, but i've had this idea for a while now.

Now THAT sounds promising for sure. Any hint WHEN this product will be finished and ready for consumption?higgins wrote:But that aside, I'm REALLY excited about what's brewing (metaphorically, as of now). Hard to tell, but an entire chapter needs to be scrapped to put this to works. Not telling yet which one.EinBein wrote:Now THAT sounds promising for sure. Any hint WHEN this product will be finished and ready for consumption?
Wound levels 1-2 no shift.nemedeus wrote:Also, still thinking about D6 conversion, there's some fun stuff i wanna do that (imo) meshes with d6 better...
Wound levels 3-4 TN5.
Wound level 5 TN6.
Burn SA point to explode 6's.
Done.
Yea, we've been pondering on this for a while now.

First teasers, now riddles?higgins wrote:Hard to tell, but an entire chapter needs to be scrapped to put this to works. Not telling yet which one.
OK, I have one obvious suspect, when it comes to areas which could be redesigned. Not telling yet.
