It came out of Ptolemaic Egypt, so the symbols are greek. Thus, it makes sense that the roman symbols are similar.

"call dibs"?
That name just screams Roman themed OSR game with more than a hint of political machination.

Clearly, I'm going to just have to write/release a whole series of ridiculously titled OSR games.Marras wrote:"call dibs"?

Man, I cannot even tell you how many one-day projects are sitting in a notebook waiting for the day when 'Bastards is officially finished so I can begin them guilt-free.Marras wrote:Thanks for the definition, Higgins!

Though, honestly, half of those are expansions for Band of Bastards as well, so who knows.

That's the problem with a creative mind. Too many great ideas, too little time.
I have to confess that I have a bit similar problem, even when running a game but recently I have managed to keep focused a bit better...

I probably have enough project ideas sitting in a folder on my computer right now to last me the rest of my natural life.
By the time whatever next project is finished? I'll probably have doubled that. At least we can rest assured, as long as Grand Heresy is a thing I'll have content to work on.

Re: Unrelated
I just get a perverse glee out of watching people complain about things in other games that 'Bastards already takes into account. Granted, we can't take complete credit for this one. I reserve the right to be pleased, nonetheless.hector wrote:Was there anybody not in favour of it?
