Re: Almost Thursday
Now, I am not from New Zealand, but South Africa is similar enough, right? (giving NZs and SAs a combined heart attack here).
But... it's been Thursday in New Zealand for over 4 hours already!

Re: Almost Thursday
South Africa is basically the same as Germany and maybe even Estonia? Or are they an hour earlier?
Edit: Estonia is Germany/South Africa +1, so Higgins Thursday is spent earlier than ours...

Time-wise, sure. South Africa is UTC+2, and does not use daylight savings.EinBein wrote:South Africa is basically the same as Germany and maybe even Estonia? Or are they an hour earlier?

So I know that lo, Thursday (tm) will come in the fullness of time, but perhaps there is time for a brief status update to placate your slavering fans.

Re: Almost Thursday
Skirmish got cleaned up significantly from last edition. Basic Melee is done. The advanced maneuvers are getting cleaned up and made presentable. We've also decided to do some tweaking to the existing material based both on forum feedback and on some playtesting we've been doing on the side. The existing text is getting some updates to account for the tweaks as well as being cleaned up for language and consistency.dysjunct wrote:So I know that lo, Thursday (tm) will come in the fullness of time, but perhaps there is time for a brief status update to placate your slavering fans.

The question is, is it Thursday™, or merely Thursday?nemedeus wrote:if i can make a prediction, i predict Master Cut AC2Agamemnon wrote:We've also decided to do some tweaking to the existing material based both on forum feedback and on some playtesting we've been doing on the side.

Any ETA yet? We've scheduled another playtest on the first weekend of November. This time, I promise a written report... after the finalization of my thesis...Agamemnon wrote:Skirmish got cleaned up significantly from last edition. Basic Melee is done. I'm getting seriously antsy in my pants over here, too. i can't wait to see where you're gonna be taking the maneuvers (i assume the combat itself has remained mostly the same from BoB because, what would you even change about that system, it's pretty much perfect)EinBein wrote:Any ETA yet? Re: Almost Thursday
You should have it before your playtest. You'd already have it if cars weren't so damned expensive, but that's another story.EinBein wrote:Any ETA yet?
