True, the scale is much easier now. Did it deform to that form from being hit or did you have to straighten it? As you can see, I don't know all that much about armor of that period.

We found it while wiping the fighting pit floor, so, it must have deformed from a blow. But clearly, it's of an odd shape. Most broken links tend to keep their recognizable form.

Or someone was a bit bored at some point and decided to play with the broken link and discarded (or dropped) it to the pit. Now, is solving this case the next riddle? :lol:
