Happy Turkey Day!

Post by Agamemnon »

The birds have been eaten, our stomachs are full. Except for Higgins. They don't appear to have Thanksgiving in Estonia, which is a shame because it's delicious. It's been an extremely busy month, and we're extremely proud of the amount of work we've gotten done. Today, however, we are taking a well-earned break. We hope you are too.

We don't have Thanksgiving here in Britain either - our Turkey Day is Christmas Day ;).

Happy Turkey day or rather Black Friday (I suppose Thanksgiving is already gone at this moment).

We don't have a Turkey day in Finland, either. At Christmas (or 'Joulu' as it's called here) we eat ham!

I had some post-swordfight chicken breast that evening, so, it's all good. :D

True, a turkey is just a big chicken. After all everything is bigger in America, even chickens :)

Clearly, what we're learning is that we need to establish a more international turkey day, so everyone on the boards has an excuse to over-eat simultaneously.

Christmas is the main over-eating holiday here.

We have an "Erntedankfest" (Harvest festival) in Germany on the first Sunday of October. But no one is caring today but the most rural and catholic communities ;)

Most stuffing is definitely done on Christmas eve and Silvester...
