5 horses, 2 guards, the fancy armor, a longsword, a rondel, medical supplies, some cash, and request a map of the area if available. The plan will be to enter there alone on horseback, the guards will be waiting close by guarding the four horses.

That's an Intimidation attempt.Benedict wrote:- You are quite indignant for a priest, aren't you, chubby? You should hold on the insults when I'm cordial to you. Especially when you are unarmed. While I am *not*.

Re: The Storm - OOC
I wasn't even going to ask for rolls, looking at the situation. But OK, now I'll just add something extra as a reward.
Anyway, am I surprised by the result? Not very much. Even though you moved from rolling about as many successes as you had dice, to rolling more than 150% of dice rolled in successes as a result. Cool. Just remember the dice gods will eventually turn away from you and looking at how high you're now, it's gonna be a pretty painful fall. A crippled peasant lady will beat your ass. Or something.

Neither am I surprised. I usually beat the crap out of insignificant rolls, while I screw badly critical ones. Btw, didn't you pull something similar in roll20 the other day?Korbel wrote:Anyway, am I surprised by the result? Not very much. Anyway, I hope I won't run into this while hunting for food.Korbel wrote:Just remember the dice gods will eventually turn away from you and looking at how high you're now, it's gonna be a pretty painful fall. A crippled peasant lady will beat your ass. Or something.

Re: The Storm - OOC
I've been thinking about using this 3D model of a castle by Shad Brooks:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZBn7f3H-eqM
This way we make sure we use cohorent terminology. And we have a very clear vision on how this castle looks like, where are the specific parts located - may be useful during planning phase, skirmishes, and such.
How do you like this idea?
I'd say that this thing next to the keep is barracks. And there, along the wall, we'd add more necessary buildings... like stables, smithy, small market, and so.

The guard resists with his Willpower and Trade (Guard duties).

Ok, my Social is 2. Manipulation (exp: Intimidate) is 2 ; 3 with Expertise. Don't think I can add synergy from Command (exp: Military) because its rank 2. Don't think any SA fires.

Re: The Storm - OOC
Well I wanted to give you this one additional dice, houseruling that Warfare expertise should help you... and even allowing the SA to fire... but it wouldn't change a thing! No 5s in your results, and both addtional (under "possible explosions") dice were failures. Looks like you were doomed to fail! MoF - 1. Minor Complication.Benedict wrote:Don't think I can add synergy from Command (exp: Military) because its rank 2. Don't think any SA fires.

Re: The Storm - OOC
In that case it'd be 6d10, not 5d10. Social 2 + Manipulate 2 + Intimidate 1 = 5d10. So, you want me to roll another d10?Korbel wrote:Well I wanted to give you this one additional dice, houseruling that Warfare expertise should help you...Benedict wrote:Don't think I can add synergy from Command (exp: Military) because its rank 2. I'll just take the result from here:Benedict wrote:So, you want me to roll another d10?
As if it were this 6th dice, resulting in 1.Benedict wrote:Possible Explosions
2d10 => 4, 1 => 5
Come on, complications are not that bad, should be fun

No problem with that. Post his reaction, and better log into roll20 too. After all Ruthard is good with swords, not words.Korbel wrote:Come on, complications are not that bad, should be fun

Ok, Ruthard scans the area as to anything useful. Btw, what's the Ob for lifting that portcullis? 10?
