A phase denotes a part of a whole. A cycle can be broken down to phases. It could be used to replace "Sequence" or "Tempo" for example. Not "Phrase". It feels extremely out of context to me. Now "Phrase". For me "Phrase" (and "Tempo") are both stellar ideas. Both enhance and underline the "Blood Opera" theme of the game, as both are also music terms. Imho these two should not be touched at all.

That's the gist of it. If Round and Turn weren't so easy to confuse, we wouldn't be having this issue.
