Re: The Storm - OOC
That was a response to his reaction after our opposed rolls. I guess you wanted a fight in that scene, and Ruthard is Bloodthirsty after all, but as I said, since SA: Protect Karl & Family was firing making them stand down and leave the manor suits Ruthard's motives best.

Re: The Storm - OOC
That would be a very, very strong effect. Basically you win the final encounter in a single roll.Benedict wrote:making them stand down and leave the manor
And it's highly unlikely they would leave the manor. It's dangerous outside, too. Their best bet is to stay together.
This Intimidation attempt will have one major effect - the guards will be pretty unwilling to assault you (unless circumstances change to their favor significantly).

Re: The Storm - OOC
No need to edit your posts. Lets consider the captain's outburst just a fearful reaction after the successful Intimidation. I'll post accordingly where Ruthard dismisses the proposed duel and we get on with business.

OK, and what about Ruthard and Karl? Are you going to help fighting the fire, or something else?

Ruthard stands in silence, sword still ready, and gauges reactions from everyone. Let the guards kill the fire.

Re: The Storm - OOC
OK, do you want to roll for this? I'm not really sure what should be rolled, probably Manipulation vs Manipulation, or Oration vs Command (you against Erich). What do you think?Marras wrote:"Shit! Everybody out! The house is on fire!", Hans shouts trying to create chaos.
If we don't roll, well, probably the guards and servants and everyone will just follow their lords' instructions.

Sure I want to roll
I think manipulation is a good choice for Hans as that's what he intends to do. Manipulate people into panic mode. Erich, on the other hand is still in command and command might be the best choice for him even though it might not be good for Hans

Re: The Storm - OOC
Actually, he is better at Manipulation. OK, let's roll, your Social/Manipulate against his Social/Command.

So, let the carnage ... er... the fun begin!Ruthard stands in silence, sword still ready, and gauges reactions from everyone. Let the guards kill the fire.

Wait a bit more for Stempest? With holidays coming and all, I guess he's busy with the family.
