Tbh Ruthard had his scene when he beheaded that damned priest and then some. I feel that this is Karl's scene and he should say something dramatic to the lord who ruined his life, too bad Stempest can't keep up with this pace. :|

No need to worry, just let's move this forward. Most probably, something will happen, involving Karl and/or Hans quite nicely. This scene is for everyone :)
Hey Stempest, check your priv. Not something urgent, but may be interesting.

Are you going to use a specific formation? Twinscars is generally going to stay behind, unless you force him to stand in front. Remember there is fireplace (more for decoration) in the very center of the hall, maybe you want to use it.

Do you want to make it an Oration Check, versus Erich? Or maybe Intimidate against his Command?

Ruthard is no orator. Manipulate/Intimidate sounds more appropriate. :D

So, your Social/Intimidation against his Social/Command? If you want, start rolling. I believe your SA should fire, assuming you fight for Karl and his family.

TN? Currently I'm rolling 8s due to Lv3 wounds, but in latest rules we see this:
pg 129 wrote:NONESSENTIAL WOUNDS
TN shifts represent the pain and difficulty in mobility that can occur while suffering a wound and remain until a wound has healed (below). However, not all wounds affect everything a character can do equally. When a character is attempting something which that wound would not directly affect (a character with a wounded leg trying to shoot a pistol, a character with a broken arm trying to outrun a bear), count their base TN as one step lower for that specific roll. As a rule, TNs from head wounds
are never reduced in this fashion.
So, I'm rolling against BTN8 or BTN7?

Also my Infamy plays any part in this?
pg 77 wrote:When dealing with respectable people that know of the reputation, they gain a disadvantage on applicable social rolls. When meeting with other characters of ill repute, they may gain an advantage to rolls that specifically play off of their reputation.
If Ruthard tried to sweet-talk his way out of this it would be clearly at Disadvantage. But now he is openly threatening them, killed the priest, and severely injured many of the guards.

IMO, wounds shouldn't really affect Social rolls, but this is Intimidation... when someone is wounded, his opponents will be like: "oh, he is not invincible".
Do you have a head wound, level 3?
I suppose the final TN should be 6 (8 from wound, -1 SA, -1 Reputation), but I suspect you will use Grin and Bear It for this scene anyway, reducing the wound efffect to Tn7, so... total total will be 5, right?
Did I give you SA points award for the scene with Georgius?

No.

My thoughts exactly. Ofc he Grins and Bears Its for the scene.

Social 2 Manipulation 2 Intimidation 1 = 5 dice vs TN 5. Here it goes.
[dice seed=41733 secure=159bb5c4_3]5d10[/dice]

Explosion
[dice seed=35335 secure=d4cc01e2_8]2d10[/dice]

That's 6 successes, right?

expl? [dice seed=24327 secure=b251011e_1]2d10[/dice]

Doesn't the Benedict's exploding 10 also explode?

Hans might have tried to help, but it seems that it's not necessary

It does, the second exploding came 1. :D

However I'm befuddled. I thought I beat the bastard, even if it was unlikely. A duel with the captain as a result of the intimidation attempt sounds like a compromise though, not a success at MoS1. :|

I assume your intention was to fight them anyway. If not this Intimidation, you would have to fight against all of them, now it's only you vs captain. And you will get additional benefit, before the fight.

No. My intention was clear from the start.

My intention is to make them go away and avoid combat while Karl and his family is present. Then interrogate Erich, who I suspect is brainwashed as well, or just plain bananas. Finally find a way to release the villagers from this curse.

If he had an Advantage on that roll (TN5) I got MoS1. If he was rolling 6s on the other hand I got MoS4. Your call. :D

"Now here is a man that doesn't fear to speak his mind."

Eyeing the guards and sporting a wicked grin Ruthard continues
"Watch closely men how a real warrior dies. Then flee for your lives."

Finally to the captain.
"You are welcome to try "captain". And then you die and feed the worms. COME!"
Basing on this, I was under impression that you want to fight and are satisfied with this resolution of the rolls... :)

The Captain was not directly attacking you, more like, you know, trying to bolster the morale of his men and show how a real warrior should behave. Probably I would make a roll for him, etc. But than you wrote that Ruthard wants to fight and all, so I thought it is a good idea to arrange a duel...
