Korbel said zero horses in the stables and no side/back entrances (which strikes me as weird tbh, there should be atleast one servants entrance). Anyway, before triggering the rouse we should have everything checked, it doesnt hurt for Hans to search around first. Ruthard binds Gunther's wound so he doesn't bleed to death. Apart from that two of us should be there by the doors waiting in ambush. Gunther did made noise, and there was a fight, don't want to take any chances. They might heard something and getting ready, or busting out, or could heard nil (due to the storm + thick walls).

As I said, we shouldn't take any chances. :)

OK, Hans scouts ahead. He makes sure we know all the entrances. If he doesn't find other than the main door he proceeds to take a look at the stables. If there are further doors, he goes to report it to Ruthard.

Oh shit, my bad. You asked about side entrances, I should've realized you meant back doors, too.

Obviously, there are back doors, facing stables. With a hard (Ob5) Cunning/Larceny check, Hans could probably find more entry points (if there are any).

and exploding die: [dice seed=24660 secure=1c9ad96c_1]1d10[/dice]

With SA firing, that's 8 successes. You guys have this magical ability to roll MoS 3 on Ob 5 checks. Incredible.

So there are 2 points of entry to the place as far as we know. Scratch previous tactics, the only sure things are (a) the young guard is chased away (b) the old guard is checked for bleeding, bound, and hidden near the courtyard outer wall and (c) Gunther is securely tied, gagged, his wound bound and hidden near the guard. Oh, Ruthard does the carrying and hiding of those two.

Did I forgot to mention that when he finds a secure place to hide them he breaks Gunther's kneecaps?

Don't want anyone sneaking from behind.

After Hans does his search we plan accordingly.

Sorry for being out of touch these days, RL can be a bitch.

Anyway, here's the modified plan:

We set the stables aflame as planned, but we split in two groups.

Me and Twins take the front door. We flank and lay in ambush.

Karl and Hans take the back. Similarly they flank the exit and lay in ambush.

After we hit the 1st wave in each side we use those doors as choke points and proceed accordingly.

Great. If you all agree on this, give me a day or two and we will begin some action.

So, we don't use the window option?

I doubt that any of our enemies will use that window to surprise us. Sending a single man through that window without knowledge of the manor's layout could be catastrophic. ithink our best bet is to block the 2 obvious exits, take em by surprise, then advance.

Probably yes. My guess is that the backdoor will see heavier action because it is closer to the stables so it would be logical for them to use that door.

It's a calculated risk, but I think their strongest won't go there but instead will remain inside. You two should ambush, then defend. Me and Twins will try to hit em hard at from the back.

True, leaders won't be first ones out. It will be some of the guards and possible servants.

I would feel best to be a backup but I can handle the front as well.
