You guys are really burning the candle from both ends

But of course it is great to see so much progress being reported. Keep up the good work!

It's 3am in Estonia, after christmas day.. and here we are again, hammering away on armor values.

I need more coffee.

:o the Mountain of Doom has been entered. Just a few steps more and the One Beta can be dropped into the Flaming Fan Crowd....

What are the chances we will see Beta by Septembre? Just a guesstimate would be appreciated... for if the answer is "rather not", I'll focus on a D&D or GURPS campaign for my old friends (hope we will manage to arrange a session or two).

September as in.. nine months from now? Barring my sudden demise, an absolute certainty.

I even allowed myself to believe in a matter of weeks at most. But this is only my humble wishful reading between the lines ;)

I can feel the beta in its nearly-finishedness...

It's a great week for announcements and beta releasings with Burning Wheel starting a new kickstarter ;)

Even though I feel it a bit outdated to not offer pdf's...

I feel like as a species, we're running out of words though.

There's so many of the concepts that we've named and now come about in other games. Hell, 5e advantages and disadvantages are so close to ours that I wasn't even sure whether to be pissed off since they managed to publish them first despite we coming up with an identical concept before they did, or to rejoice that great minds think alike.

There's been several such instances, and now BW comes up with a codex? Really?

I guess that makes us even for 'Bastards making use of Obstacles.

I guess I can't complain -- sold my Monster Burner for $90 a couple of months back.

90 dollars? Hmm... I didn't know I had that kind of money laying on my shelf :)

That thing about terms and mechanics must be a bit frustrating. It must feel a bit like how makers of Dredd felt like when it was said that Dredd had copied a plot from Raid the Redemption.

Still, it is all about the whole and how ideas are executed.

Being the cheapest offer on eBay, it sold almost immediately. ;)

Pretty good price. I wonder what effect the kickstarter will have on that...

.. I just spent three hour rebalancing all of the armor math. I have spreadsheets burnt into my eyes.
