If there's one thing that studying physics taught me, it's that being a bit mad can be quite useful. :D

I won't lie. Some of our biggest breakthroughs have come after one of us has been on painkillers/cough syrup/mad with fever for a few days. Something about a bit of madness is good for creativity.

Agamemnon: while I look over your comments... when will we have an atlatl codex?
Me: Atlatl (close/medium, 4p, instant; ) [note to reader: I made it up on the spot]
Agamemnon: haha.. do I get any upgrade options for caliber or length?
Me: in an expansion
Me: Image **all that atlatl cash-money** Image
Agamemnon: "I took an A priority in proficiencies and spec'd into Atlatl. I'm a specialist."
Agamemnon: "I ready my heavy war-atlatl.."
Agamemnon: Bloody hipster marksmen
Agamemnon: "You're using a crossbow? My atlatl is vintage."
Agamemnon: Guy probably uses a flint knife too.. won't shut up about how sharp it is.
Me: hahaha, I'm sure
Agamemnon: "Oh, why? what are you using? steel? have fun with that butterknife."
Me: "Steel is such a fad."
Agamemnon: "Bet you can't even kill whitewalkers with that thing."
Me: then gets murdered by a guy that wears rusty plate armor

Not so great against armor, the flint knives. Sharp, but rubbish against armor.

Just in case you guys were thinking that we're slacking off... we just went through eight new iterations of armor trait wordings. The rules are pretty much the same as they were, but now they're actually comprehensible. You're welcome.

Man, I don't even want to talk about that nonsense. haha.

As it turns out, designing a game is not the hardest part of designing a game. Communicating that design to other people is the real challenge.

Yes, I can imagine. Sometimes it is just plain hard to understand what designers try to say with a certain wording so all those iterations are greatly appreciated.
