Adrian glares at Benedykt, his red eyes like daggers, but he finally steps back.

"You fool" Albrecht reacts to Benedykt's decision. "Get your hands off me! I'll go myself. Zawisza, Rutha- Ruthard, what are you actually doing here? Ah, whatever... You two, I take you as witnesses. I'm hereby a prisoner of Benedykt Tarnovius. And fuck this war."

"I have granted you mercy at your request, yet you keep insulting me."
growls Benedykt with an angry tone. Suddenly he slaps Albrecht hard across the face with his gauntleted hand. The Teuton staggers to remain standing from the unexpected blow.

"On your life, this is the last time you insult me thus. From now on you will adress to me as "Duke" or "Lord". These two gentlemen" he motions towards Zawisza and his companion "will bear witness to both our conduct."

Turning to his squad.
"Strip him of his armor and guard him at all times. We set out as soon as we are ready to travel."

At first, Albrecht doesn't say a word in return. When he gets eye contact with Ruthard - the other Teuton knight - he points at men-at-arms under his command, quietly conveying him the leadership.

"Touchy little princess" he smirks at Benedykt, speaking quietly this time.

Without a word Benedykt grabs Albrecht by the throat and throws him over his hip, tumbling down along with the Teuton. The two knights are in a tangled mess of armored limbs while the others stay clear of them.

"I'll show you what a little princess can do peasant!" Shouts Benedykt. He jams his rondel in Albrecht's armpit plate gap and thrusts hard, piercing him deep. Luckily the blade slides along the ribs and misses any major organs. Still Albrecht starts bleeding for all to see.

"Stop, you are killing me!" shrieks Albrecht.
"You are wrong princess, its you who is killing you!" growls Benedykt back. Having pinned Albrecht to the ground, Benedykt being on top, he raises his rondel high in the air in an icegrip grip and thrusts downwards with a powerful motion. Albercht screams, and the blade buries deep in the ground next to Albrecht's head. Benedykt raises himself and starts clearing the dust off him.

"Next time he speaks without permission put out one of his eyes, right or left I don't care." he says calmly to Adrian.

"Now, strip this honorless coward of his armor, dress his wounds, and get ready for travel."

Adrian, now very confused, not only emotionally, walks over and starts treating the man he just a minute ago wanted dead. After a couple minutes of fumbling about he manages to clog the bleeding, and steps back, feeling dirty not just because of the blood on his hands.

Teuton scouts, under Ruthard's command, leave the scene unceremoniously.

"So, that was... Interesting" Zawisza breaks the silence. "Are you going back to the camp?"

"Unfortunately, I can't. You see, this is a delicate matter" he winks at Benedykt, his bearded face in full smile. "I'll have to escort this friend of mine back... back home. And hopefully nobody will see us. But enough about me, because you did very well! Where did you learn to fight this well?"

"Thank you my lord. I mostly trained with my father, the late duke Tarnowski." replies Benedykt, making the sigh of the cross when metioning his father.

"I understand that the situation is... complicated. I hope we will meet soon under better circumstances. I wish you godspeed lord Zawisza in your quest. If you need any assistance in your quest that I can provide, by all means, just say so. It will be an honor." says Benedykt with a warm smile.

"We should be fine. My companion knows the way, I know how to swing a sword and our horses are eager to ride - what else do we need? Oh, I'm sure we'll meet again, hopefully kicking some... Well, I mean, fighting in the name of our beloved King. Right? God bless you, sir!"

"Until we meet again lord Zawisza! God bless and Godspeed!" Benedykt extends his hand and the two men part with a hearty handshake.

When our group is left alone in the clearing Benedykt walks up to Albrecht, who now has his hands bound behind his back.

"You swore that you had something important to tell me should I let you live. It's time to live up to your oath."

Benedykt glares at him and speaks, his voice full of contempt. "You are a pampered spoiled brat who thinks this war is a game of make-believe. You swore that you had valuable information should I spare you. Which I did. You have no right nor power to make other demands on me. Try and squeeze that little brain of yours fool. Continue like this, and bleeding to death will be the least of your worries."

"Life is a game, isn't it? And apparently, at this moment I'm in a losing position... I gave you a word, and I'll keep it - I can tell you something interesting. But as I've said, I can share with you much more than that, as I've done some investigation on the matters... And I suppose your family is involved in this whole mess. Let's agree on a deal. I'll tell you everything I discovered, if you promise me that you'll set me free if you find these bits of knowledge crucial indeed. And if not, I'm still your prisoner. No risk for you."
