Riddle Game #7

Post by higgins »

No teaser today, so, it's riddle time. Remember how I said that there was almost no wasted material when working with leather? Well, working with sheet metal is almost the same -- scraps can be re-used for other projects.

What's taking shape here? :)

I'd call it a Heap, not neat enough to be considered a Pile.

I'd say there's a couple hints in the shapes there :)

I will be adding just a couple of pieces to the pile at most. This is more or less a complete set that you're seeing here.

I don`t know why, but every time I look at this I see a shield.

Good point! One could easily make rivet washers from the scraps of another build, which would indeed be quite handy when making a shield, but this is not what I have in mind with these. I'll definitely be drilling them though. :)

And in case I wasn't clear in my initial post, these pieces are made from Riddle Game #6 scraps. The two largest (and most obvious) pieces were the only ones I couldn't scavenge and had to resort cutting them from a new sheet. You can see one of them in the front, buried under the smaller details.

Okay, it seems you guys need more hints. Here's the whole pile (except for the two obviously telling pieces) spread out. Also I might have a couple of extra pieces in there in case I mess a few up.

Okay, this turned out to be way harder than I thought.

New hint: Count the U-shaped pieces. :)
