The arming points are just temporarily poked though the cloth right now to be easily adjustable as I try the leggings out. The right poleyn is a bit high for the moment and it exposes some of the knee above the greaves as I crouch. I'll mount them properly when I've figured out the height that's consistently correct.

So, the original riddle image had all the material for both legs. Two layers of blanket on each leg, except for the crook of the knee that has just one layer for flex. The stitching took days for my inexperienced hands. And the sharp corners in the knee area were a bitch to sew. I'll make those transitions much smoother the next time around.

Nevermind the "original western" belt, hahaha. It was the sturdiest one I had laying around. :D

I would be curious to hear if that really helps against some tough hits by steel swords during a tourney... :o

You'll have to click on it to see the larger version though. It's hard to tell, but the green leggings show from between the greave gaps. I couldn't find a better photo with the cloth more visible.
