Greetings and salutations.
My name is Kostas, an avid role-player for the past 25 years, and really excited about Band of Bastards.
Nice meeting you all!

How did you find us?

Well, apart from a player, I'm also a writer and artist, among other things.
There I was last week, googling for some Renaissance-style swordsmanship inspiration pictures for a project of mine, when I chanced upon the front cover of Bastards. The rest as they say is history.

Hi all.
I stumbled across "Band of Bastards" on the net, and was immediately hooked. TROS made right? A good system for simulating murdering people with langmessers in a german state somewhere in 1526?
Im in.
When im not thinking about such things, I am a 40 years old Norwegian schoolteacher with a wife that tolerates my interests, and a couple of sons whom I am currently teaching the sabre.

Welcome to the boards, Lawless!
Do you teach them fencing sabre or military sabre?

The military sabre. HEMA to the bone. I have no background in Olympic fencing, and relatively little interest in it.

Hello! I wish you patience, Bastards need a lot
You're joining relatively late, though. Maybe you won't have to wait very long for a finished game. Lucky bastard
Have fun on the forums!

Ciao,
I was surfing the net, and I found tracks of a promising RPG...you know...I mean...well...here I am from Italy!
I downloaded the first preview of
Sword & Scoundrel, and I'm eager to read it!
Cheers,
Checco

Welcome Wayne!
Where are you from in NZ? I spent the months from Feb to Apr on your little islands with my wife and son and haven't seen many gaming stores on the roads... just one martial arts store in Auckland, close to a gaming Café, where patrons could rent board games. So I wondered already whether there were Kiwi gamers at all
