It's Thursday again. We're working long hours on beta, but since we have no update on that side of things... There's bound to be a riddle.

I reckon he's going to cut along some of those lines, do a bit of folding and stitching and end up with a "thing". I'm sure it will be have been obvious, when we know.

Yup. I actually considered turning the leather over for the riddle, but left the markings on the top side as a hint. And as it often is the case, the scale can be deceiving.

I had guessed it would become a piece of barbarian underwear, but with the lines on it I think it will be the beginning of a leather armor for the torso

Nono, you misread my comment. It's for torso as EinBein quite correctly suggested. It will not be "leather armor" though -- there's more stuff to come, making it a whole different type of armor. If that makes sense.

Will you be attaching a lot of small metal plates to it? Making it some sort of scale armour? [I'm really not very good at armour terminology.]

Your armor knowledge is bound to improve when we get the beta out, but mine will not be scale armor.

I suppose it's not going to be padding used under metal armor. Maybe you will put some pieces of wood or bone to it?

I've picked up many facts about armour over the years. I just don't know which are actually true
