It will be open to everyone once it gets up and running fully and we're looking forward to the feedback. We do recommend signing up for the newsletter though, if you haven't already. We may do some kind of promotions through the newsletter, or drop additional information there, and it will guarantee that you're among the first to hear when something is available or changes.

I'm looking forward to get my hands on this material and hopefully get a chance to run it to my group.

Most likely we'll just make the file available in the Band of Bastards [Beta] subforum, which is hidden for the guests. You need to make a forum account to access that section and that's it.

Just checking in to see how thing are looking. I'm very excited about this game, and can't wait to get my hands on a system.

No pressure? Right!

As a minor update, our latest playtest made us streamline some of the crunch. We're still working hard to make this the best game ever.

Currently, we're:
* re-working the maneuvers list (almost done)
* Revamping the "fighting more than one person at a time" rules
* Finishing the monstrous creature rules (i.e. anything so big that man-sized dueling falls apart)
* And experimenting with a dynamic armor codex, when we need a breather from the core material.

Things are coming along brilliantly. It's just a lot of writing for two guys to do from scratch. haha. In short, it will be out Soon™

Seriously, take your time as there is no need to rush things even though I am waiting eagerly to see the beta.

Not trying to rush you, but every thursday I look and see no Song of Steel beta a part of me dies and a puppy also dies.

Sorry for the delay in approving your post -- I was participating in a knight tournament.

As for the release date of Thursday, it was suggested by Hector. Sadly we haven't managed to pin down which Thursday it will be.
