Since we have degrees of success, there are degrees of failure also, yes. We actually removed fumbles a loooong time ago, but I'm guessing that this image simply reminded Agamemnon that fact.
As for making it a lever, not sure what it would add on top of the degrees of failure. And yes, we did take a few pointers from AW.

Yeah. I just found the picture and thought it was an apt joke to make.
We have a degree of success/degree of failure system.. as well as an alternate take on that for people who have more particular tastes.

I've often told Higgins we should make our alpha docs public if only so people could read the madness that went on in our comments and notation.
