Fair Marco lie dead, head cracked open with some heavy implement that left the impression of a rotten melon. The German had met a similar end, belly open from navel to sternum. The dagger involved was now lost somewhere in his rib-cage.
The hall was still but for the scuffling of two men in the final throws of their conflict. The mercenary had gone down with a crash, unprepared for the blow from the German's companion. Both men were now bruised, bleeding, and panting from exertion. The tall, rangy figure was entangled with him now, both locked in a mortal struggle. One finally shifted, his arm catching around the throat of his adversary. Squeezed. The mercenary's last words were little more than a gasp and a choke.
"Who runs barter town?"
"G-Gasparo... runs.. barter town.."
The room fell silent.

Marco's objective here is to ask Giovanni about the poisoning / black magic thing, but as Giovanni is busy, Marco must wait I suppose. He'll just take care of his equipment, explore the castle, or keep Giorgio from fighting the whole garrison if that's his plan for todaythirtythr33 wrote:Requests for next scenes?
