Nothing like a good bashing to get the creative juices flowing again. The next chapter will be up soon.

As I'm having my tonsils yanked out tomorrow morning, there will be no new release this Thursday. The next chapter is mostly done though, so, it shouldn't be too long.

People trying to cheer me up.
An American, British and Soviet doctor are talking about their most complicated operations. The American doctor says that brain surgery is the most difficult. The British doctor says that open heart surgery is the most daunting. The Soviet doctor says that tonsillectomies are the most complicated surgery in the Soviet Union.
The American and British doctor ask, "Why is a tonsillectomy so complex?"
"Oh," says the Soviet doctor, "because we have to extract the tonsils through the rectum."
"Through the rectum??! Why on Earth would you do that?"
"Because, in the Soviet Union, no one opens their mouth."

No pain in the rectum, so, either he wasn't, or they've gotten REALLY good at it.

Apparently I have an open/near surface nerve ending on the right side of my throat. I've been in considerable pain and it will take time for it to get healed over. So, I'm on opiates. I guess you could call it research for the painkillers part of the wound chapter? Right?
