OK, good idea.
But for now I think we should wait for the return of our Ambush Team. And than we will think about the next step.

Certainly. I just had to write it down, otherwise I might forget it :)

Things I would like to know from Ambush team:
  • How are each of the thugs being tied? ie, hands? feet? tied together or separately?
  • Are you trying to take them back to the Acerbi estate stealthily or fully out in the open?
  • Are you leading them around with your weapons out, or kept away?
Correct me if any of these assumptions are wrong:
  • You have taken any weapons of the thugs
  • You are intending to take them all back to the Acerbi estate
  • Bleeding wounds have been tied off
Also:
  • Giorgio gains 2 SAs for "Stick up for the little guy" (Felle)
  • Karl gains 2 SAs for "Punish the Nobles who raped a lowborn woman" (This isn't EXACTLY the SA, but I think that punishing people involved is close enough for it to count)
  • No SA for Ferran yet. He could earn 2 for "Make a name for himself" if he started boasting to his captives or strangers. eg "Tell your boss Ferran is coming for him next!"

Anyone interested in some dueling between our characters, for fun? We could do this on roll20.

Ferran takes care of tying them up using nautical knots. He makes a double constrictor knot at each wrist and elbow, tying the left wrist with the right elbow and vice versa, hands behind the back.

All bleeding wounds are binded as best as possible.

Their weapons are taken away, and after binding them Ferran searches them for concealed weapons and anything unusual.

I suppose we should take them to the Acerbi estate using the back streets. I don't know about the guys, but Ferran readies and conceals both his knives.

Each of us should lead one man back to the estate. Given they are battered and bound they should be easily handled.

Another concern is Felle and his wife. I fear that Rocco might send another crew or worse come himself since the first failed. Shouldn't we take them with us to the Acerbi estate or hide them somewhere in the city?

That would be interesting! Unfortunately I can't commit to Roll20 session but if it is OK, we can take it to Satisfaction Alley. Frankly, the whole combat system is quite fuzzy for me at the moment, so a practice fight or two would greatly help to understand it and possibly for Cirillo to survive his first actual combat in the game.

I am not quite sure what is the use of bringing them back to the household.
After all, they are only goons. They are not responsible for the rape. They are clearly not in a shape to fight anymore. We could simply drop them off in a back alley and the least wounded of them would have to take care of the rest.

For Felle and his wife, I thought about telling the thugs that Felle actually never saw anything. We just used him as a bait and that bait actually worked. If he had seen something, we would not have use it as bait...

I don't see why they would come back for Felle now. We know who is reponsible.

It's your call :)

We know who sent those goons but I don't know if we can rule out the possibility that one of those is the one who did it. In any case, they are gang members if you let them loose and tell that it was just a trap they can still attack Felle because he helped us (from their point of view).

Exactly. Plus they now know our faces and they might use Felle for information like we did. But they won't be gentle at all. I fear that this will end only with a well placed hit against Rocco.

My original idea for these guys was to take them to a secluded canal somewhere and make sure they understand the gravity of the situation. We really only need the one that Ferran stabbed in the neck. The guy with the shattered face and the guy without functional genitalia won't be able to talk and have nothing left to live for respectively.

We know who sent these men, but we still don't know who committed the crime. If we kill the other two, and make sure that the one guy talks we can get a positive ID on the culprit. If not, then we get Rocco's home address and make an assault.

The one with the smash genitals is the one with Rocco at St Marks. There could be a chance he knows, while the other two are clueless hired muscle. I think we can't afford taking any chances.

I let Ferran decides, he is the sailor who knows how to tie rope properly.

Are you trying to take them back to the Acerbi estate stealthily or fully out in the open?
We try to be as stealthily as possible

Are you leading them around with your weapons out, or kept away?
I leave the club in the workshop and I have my dagger on myself.

Regarding our three captives, Karl would want to bring them back to the Household.
They are only thugs and are very likely not responsible for the rape. He will object strongly to killing two of them. At the best, he could agree to break an arm or two to make sure they don't come back for a vengeance, but killing would be too harsh for the circumstances.

And why risk the legal trouble? There will be at least a minimal investigation if they found two or three bodies. But if a few thugs take a beating (a heavy one...), there should not be any repercussion from the law.

OK, so what is your decision, guys? Let's move this forward. If you can't decide, I think Alex should have the final call.

Should we roll a die to decide? I'm a strong proponent of the school of though that we only need one of them.

Highest number maybe?

As for me, you can even roll many dice. I mean, pools of dice. And use Maneuvers. And the Wound Table
Seriously now - technically, you are working for Acerbis. And Marco wanted Karl to be in charge. Just reminding.
Obviously, I'm not there to suggest you anything. Just make your decision (or play up your Flaws, or fire SAs, or whatever, if there's anything applicable) and let's go forward :)
