This confrontation kind of went around in circles with neither side willing to back down.

After this scene, I think it's going to be a better idea to use opposed Manipulation rolls to give us some more direction how the scene needs to be resolved. Or maybe a Full Contest... hm...

I think nobody expected a prolonged confrontation to suggest a Full Contest :)

I think Marco's question is a good moment to conclude Scene 6 :)
Unless you are preparing something special for us

No surprises from me. But it's probably a good time for all of you to share information and come up with a plan.

Or would you rather do the sharing information off screen and fast forward to another scene? You could do the planning OOC and we can jump straight to the the stake-out at the woodcarvers. Or Marco could have a conversation with his brother later that afternoon.

That's exactly what I was thinking about. If you guys are OK with that, we should plan our next move and start scene 7.

Totally agree. Also a question for thirtethr33. I have one unassigned SA point. Can I add "Hates the Spanish rule"?

Guess your reaction means I supplied the required emphasis!

What did you expect from a salty dog? He might mean well and be honest about it but old habbits die hard. :)

PS Besides its only spittle. Hygiene wasn't Europe's strong suit back then.

OK guys, what about the plan? We informed Giacomo that we have a witness. Maybe we should let this be known in the fencing school, too? In case Blasio is not the rapist, but someone else. Maybe this person will catch the bait there. And than we will see, if someone assaults our woodcarver.
If you think Francesca is in danger, I can stay to protect her. I'm not a fighter and I'm wounded, you don't need me for the stakeout.

We can fast forward the planning phase OOC. There is something Cirillo wants to share with others about Rocco and his possible connection to Blasio. If Francesca is not in need of further aid from Cirillo, he will probably join others at the woodcarver's.

Cirillo finds that Francesca didn't drink the tansy tea. Otherwise, she is in pretty much the same state as she was left in.

Things I need to know:
  • Will Francesca be staying at the D'agnolo's or the Acerbi's?
  • How many people are hiding out at the woodcarvers at a time?
  • How many days you are willing to do so before giving up?
  • What times you are staking out (just nights, or days too?)?
  • Whether anyone is staying with Francesca or Claudio (or just checking in on them)?
  • Is anyone spreading the same rumors around at the Fencing School?
  • What weapons/armor is everyone carrying with them?

I will leave other things to be decided later on but Cirillo will get rid of tansy tea. I suppose it must have a telling odor as it is not an assassin's poison and will try to smell if it seems like the cup still has that one there (does that sound paranoid or what?). Cirillo tries to comfort Francesca while he examines her but I there is only so much he can do. He will also try to visit Claudio as his doctor to see how he is doing.

The cup of tea is full, cold and just as bitter as when you left it. You are certain it has not been switched.

Claudio is in a similar state as he was the previous night. The only interesting thing is that Claudio tells Cirillo that Giacomo confirmed he had sent for Lucio Monte (Cirillo's mentor and Claudio's previous doctor) and they expects him to arrive in 3-4 days.

I was really worried that it was being used to poison Claudio and frame Cirillo.

That's interesting as will be the first meeting between Cirillo and Lucio :)
