I'm in the middle of my work day, so, didn't have time to watch the whole thing, but seems like a quality production. Anyway, it has Jake in it saying: "Swords! Oh my gosh! Swords! We love swords! Everybody loves swords!" :D

Breakdown of 14th century armor by steel type: http://willscommonplacebook.blogspot.co ... lurgy.html

Essentially, modern mild steel is a pretty accurate representation of pretty much all 14th century armor, except for the tempered steel ones.

That HEMA video sums it up nicely. Found a local HEMA club and joined them a few months back. Lots of fun! Hell yeah for longsword!

This is probably the best image of a medieval siege that I've ever seen: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/YJnV

It's very immersive. I love the immobility of everything. It's not one of those Wimmelbilder(teeming pictures) where there is action/fire/fighting/explosions everywhere, but a much more authentic version. Like a modern-day building site: A couple of people working, the rest eating sandwiches and "supervising" ;)

Truly a gentleman's agreement.
