Which door is Giacomo opening? Where is he going?

There are a number of rooms in that direction, but your guess is your father's room.

Coincidence? I think not.

Hmm... maybe we are looking for the culprit from a wrong country? :)

Minorca (native Menorca) is the 2nd in size Balearic island, part of the Kingdom of Majorca.
The Kingdom of Majorca, including the counties of Cerdanya and Roussillon-Vallespir and the city of Montpellier, was held independently from 1276 to 1279 by James II of Majorca and as a vassal of the Crown of Aragon after that date, becoming a full member of the Crown of Aragon in 1344.
At the time we are playing the Kingdom of Majorca, resembling something more like a duchy, was part of the unified Spanish Kingdom.
The process of territorial consolidation was completed when King Charles I, known as Emperor Charles V, in 1516 united all the kingdoms on the Iberian peninsula, save the Kingdoms of Portugal and the Algarve, under one monarch—his co-monarch and mother Queen Joanna I in confinement—thereby furthering the creation of the Spanish state, albeit a decentralised one.
The Balearic at that time had mainly Catalanese and Jew populace, and was more close to the French than the Spanish rule. That's the reason Ferran chose to seek his fortunes in an Italian city state, probably working against the Spanish throne.

That aside I have a question for thirtythr33. Ferran, due to his trade, had quite a few encounters with smugglers, shady merchants, plus he has travelled around the Italian penninsula alot (thats where Language: Italian 3 came from).

I want to burn an SA and introduce an element regarding Blasio. I have the uncomfortabe feeling I've seen this man before, and more specificaly in the company of a shady merchant who runs a smuggler ring in Ragusa (Dubrovnic) that is notorious for his connections and dealings with Barbary corsairs. Is that possible?

Yes, but let me respond to some of these other posts before Ferran brings it up. After you read what happens you might not want to still do it.

When exactly in the conversation is Ferran trying to step in the way?

If it was meant to be before Blasio took a bow, then it's a pretty huge development... I don't think it's going to work trying to rewind and forget it.

If it is meant to be after, then Giacomo is already through the door (Blasio specifically waited). In this case, Blasio will try to push past Ferran. If you want to stop him, you will have to put a hand on him.

Also remember Ferran has no knowledge of what Karl and Giorgio found out.

Karl and Giorgio are not the only guards the Acerbi house has. They are just the ones your father assigned to this job. In total there are approximately 12 guards working for the Acerbi house, as per Lesser Noble description. Most probably have duties else where but a few others may still be around the house.

Yeah, I know. But it doesn't change the fact that two of our guards are already here. And probably they can react much faster, than the other guards. And they're all Acerbi guards, not Soranzo guards, after all. I think Blasio should consider that :)
I want him to answer me. And let's see how Giacomo will react.

Yup, just making sure you understood.

Blasio won't be doing any talking unless someone physically stops him leaving.

It might seem a bit weird I'm being so insistent about this, but a sailor putting hands on a noble is a big deal and Blasio knows it. He is trying to force Ferran's hand.

So he doesn't react to my words?

No, he is pushing his way past Ferran.
