Ferran has spent a few hours around the docks alternately asking about ways to contact Rocco's crew and spreading rumors about Rambaldo but has not been having much success. People either don't know who you are talking about or don't want to make any trouble for themselves.
After having no luck in another seedy bar, Ferran steps back out into the streets. As he is turning down the alley to try the next building, he notices over his shoulder that two men have exited after him and are following close behind. They are young, tough looking men and not obviously armed but their determined expressions betray that they probably aren't interested in talking.
They don't appear to have noticed their ambush has been detected.

Re: The Floating City [Scene 12] [Asking Questions]
Ferran makes a quick break for it and the men give pursuit. One yells out "Get back 'ere you fuck!"
Ferran soon loses the men down an alley, but not before he is sure they got a good look at his face.

Re: The Floating City [Scene 12] [Asking Questions]
Ferran quietly loops back around after losing the thugs in order to tail them. For a while they simply stand in the street having a heated discussion with each other, but they are too far away for Ferran to make out what they are talking about. One points up the street and they both start heading in that direction.
They head to the docks a few islands over and walk up the gangplank to a ship and a feeling of dread starts to build in the pit of Ferran's stomach as he has an uneasy feeling he might recognize that flag... Ferran watches helplessly as his worst fear is confirmed; the two men make their way across the deck and begin reporting to none other than Master Gatti.

Ferran makes sure no one follows him back to the Acerbi household. He intentionally double tracks and is always vigilant to loose any talis attached. Then he informs everyone about the new development.
