If you can't come to a decision OOC, you can roll opposed Manipulation + Social rolls against eachother.

Re: The Floating City [OOC]
No need for that, at least from my part. I believe that we should take em back to the Acerbis for further questioning and medical care, then organize our next move against Rocco if needed. I also stress that I fear about the safety of Felle. Since Karl is in charge I will go by his lead. As for killing them its impractical and doesn't add up with Ferran's character. He is Curious, he wants to know more, and he believes that the guy he saw at St Marks knows more than he tells. He wants to make a name for himself, correct. But making a name as a cold blooded killer isn't an option.thirtythr33 wrote:If you can't come to a decision OOC, you can roll opposed Manipulation + Social rolls against eachother.

Re: The Floating City [OOC]
So I believe that it is 2 against 1 (Karl and Ferran want to take them all back to the Acerbi's and Giorgio wants to kill (or disable) 2 of them first.). Unless Giorgio wants to get physical and play up his Temper/Blood lust (by for example, just murdering one of the captives without discussion) then I think this is going as follows:
* All three tied hands behind back
* Two walking, 1 carried by Karl
* Heading back to Acerbi house
* Attempting to be stealthy
* Weapons kept concealed
If this is the case, I would like an Ob3 (more lighting than before) Stealth roll at disadvantage (also trying to hide 3 captives) from each of you. You can share successes or use impersonation like last time.
Sorry Marco and Cirillo, this might take a while, depending how the rolls go In the meantime, you two should do a combat in Satisfaction Alley or something.

I'll go with it for now. Karl's taking the lead on this one and I'm still a good soldier. I won't be happy about it though

Re: The Floating City [OOC]
Are we rolling Stealth/Agility? Or could we use Acumen or Cunning to sneak through back streets?

Re: The Floating City [OOC]
Use which-ever attribute fits with the description of how you are being stealthy in a In Character description of the scene.

Cunning 3 + 0 Stealth
[dice seed=18838 secure=33c31b3b_0]3d10[/dice]
Only 2 successes since we are at Disadvantage (unless SA applies, but I don't think it does)
Hope someone can share a success or we will have to make a run for it (and drop our captives) when the city watch sees us...

Re: The Floating City [OOC]
I want to try Impersonation posing as drunkards going back to sleep. I ask Felle to give me some alcoholic beverage to splash both on me and the captive to make the ruse more believable, if available of course. Otherwise I hope I get lucky. Here it goes.
Cunning 4 + Impersonation 2
[dice seed=15540 secure=e985be2e_0]6d10[/dice]
Exploding Die [dice seed=48392 secure=881eb25f_1]1d10[/dice]
So I guess that's a MoS 0, right?

How did I miss that? Thanks Korbel.Korbel wrote:Explosions in the sky, explosions in your dice

I'll roll my Cunning/Stealth, considering how we're sticking to backstreets and trying not to get lost.

Re: The Floating City [OOC]
I am going away on vacation for two weeks, so it might be hard for me to follow the thread.
If Karl sees the City Watch or anyone that could spell trouble, he will drop his captive and make a run for the Acerbi househould. He was a bit reluctant to bring the captives back to the household in the first place, so he sees no use in risking anything for them. He does not believe they will add much to the investigation. They were planning the ambush to get a name and they found out that Rocco the Red is somehow involved. That is enough for him. We don`t need his henchmen: we will just going to capture him at one point.

Re: The Floating City [OOC]
If you like we can also assume that Karl told Ferran and Giorgio that was his plan from the start.
Also remember that the fastest way back to the estate is past the men on the bridge you are on. You could go back to another island and find a different crossing but it might add an hour to your travels.

Re: The Floating City [OOC]
Either someone with better social skill than karl can convince the two men nothing is wrong or we head off to a different bridge.
Also, we could leave two thugs in an alley. Giorgio and Karl could easily carry the third one and it would be quick and less suspicious.

Re: The Floating City [OOC]
I think your best "social" skill is Giorgio's 7 dice Intimidation. You could help him, granting 2 extra dice. This should work.
