This is the shopkeeper's resistance to manipulation (2 Cun 3 Will):

BUT! I also want to invoke Giogrio's Major Flaw. Temper p82 to either
1) attack the shopkeeper (punch or grapple) or
2) damage some of his property

as per Temptation p70

Exploding d10

Final Ob3
Good thing I have that Intimidation expertise:

Whoo! One exploded!
[dice seed=39947 secure=cd4bbe31_1]1d10[/dice]

That looks pretty succsesful.
Also, yeah, I"m gonna go pretty ballistic on his shop. If I do grapple him, should I roll for that as well? I'll just roll right now and we can edit as we see fit later in the narrative

Grab for 8 dice

Oh, this Exploded dice gives you a MoS of 3, which is an Extraordinary Success! He will tell you everything he knows and you'll even get a discount in his shop!
PS. Reading the actual play - oh, that's quite nasty from you. Now I feel sorry for the shopkeeper...

I'm a rascally one Korbel.
Also, 33, my temper is only a minor flaw and thus not subject to temptation. I'm still gonna play it up though, you don't have to worry about that.

Wait no, never mind. It is a major flaw.

Yes but Marco knows Giacomo has a key for it (you could still jam the lock or something though).

Don't even think like this. I hope everything is OK.

GM!
I think you should give me this level 3 blunt to forearm. At first I thought level 1 is fair, but now, when I think about all of this, I feel more and more like a cheater. And I don't like it.
I know, it's quite late to say this, but better late than never. Fortunately, it doesn't change anything, when it comes to Stealth and Athletics rolls. Even with BTN 7 (from level 3 wound) I still win easily. I'll just wait until it heals. And if I have to fight or make some tough rolls, I can always Grin and Bear, which gives me BTN 6. So it's not very bad.
It was risky to duel Giacomo and I should accept the outcome and consequences.

PS. No, I won't jam the lock.

Me too. It's just that Cirillo gave her a brew of poison (and left it for her to decide to drink or not to drink it) as a sort of abortion. Now Giacomo is practically accusing Cirillo of poisoning his and Marco's father. I suppose you can draw some conclusions from there :)

Not needed yet, he isn't resisting. He may later though.

For you to get the SA for playing up you must make the the situation worse for yourself somehow (ie losing track of Giacomo and Blasio or giving away your stealth).
Korbel wrote:It was risky to duel Giacomo and I should accept the outcome and consequences.
Okay, but I don't like setting a precedent for "take backs". Usually I would rather to just move forwards in the story even if we got some rules wrong.

OK, I've added a Wound and a new Story Aspect at 0 for my character.
